Who are we looking for? 

We are looking for a knowledgeable and driven individual with senior levels of professional experience and also experience in taking a technical lead role.

As a JavaScript Developer consultant, you will play a crucial role within our culture. Aside from years of experience and past titles, we value a passion for delivering high-quality work, ambition to solve problems, and enthusiasm for continuous improvements. If you are taking on a senior role, we expect you to be a value multiplier, helping us advance our colleagues, our company, and our culture.

Those who succeed in this role usually have: 

• At least 8+ years of relevant professional experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• A passion for technology, sharing knowledge, and enabling others
• Experience in creating mid to large-scale web applications using modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with at least one major frontend framework (React, Vue and/or Angular)

 You'll make us extra excited with:

• Experience with agile software development and working in cross-functional teams
• Previous experience in taking a leading role in a software project/team
• Experience in a backend framework (such as Node.js) as well as building and consuming APIs
• Exceptional dedication to the community through your commitment to open-source or other visible initiatives

What will you do?

As a JavaScript developer consultant, you will develop new skills through dynamic assignments that are technologically advanced. You will get to work alongside brilliant minds, focusing on innovation instead of maintenance. 

You will:

• Join our hand-picked colleagues and together co-create custom software, to impact large numbers of users in Scandinavia and beyond
• Work in a distributed team with co-located and remote colleagues
• Build impressive software that enhance the end user's experience
• Have the opportunity to participate in discussions, facilitate workshops and share knowledge about your topics of expertise
• Proactively help your colleagues grow and improve with code reviews, pair programming and other extreme programming practices
• Continuously enhance ways of working regarding relationships, tools and best practices
