Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a knowledgeable and driven backend engineer to join us on our journey moving forward. Aside from years of experience and past titles, we value passion for delivering high-quality work, ambition to solve problems, and enthusiasm for continuous improvements. 

What will we do together?

You will take the role of a consultant, helping our clients solve complex software development challenges. You will develop new skills by gradually moving from project to project, which will support you to progress faster in your career. You will be focusing on innovation instead of maintenance with other experienced consultants from engineering to product, QA, UI & UX.

As a backend engineer, you will:

• Co-create custom software together with software development teams at our clients, impacting large numbers of users in Scandinavia and beyond
• Work in a distributed team with co-located and remote colleagues living in Slovenia and Sweden
• Actively participate in system architecture and product decisions
• Design and build services using the latest cloud technologies
• Continuously enhance ways of working regarding relationships, tools, and best practices
• Have the opportunity to participate in panels, facilitate workshops, and share knowledge about topics of your expertise both with your colleagues as well as the extended tech community in Slovenia and beyond

We believe you have:

• Approximately 4+ years of relevant professional experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• A passion for technology, sharing knowledge, and enabling others to grow and develop
• A strong understanding of C# and .NET Core
• Proven experience with cloud computing platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in event-driven architecture with publish/subscribe and event stream models
  
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Experience with and understanding of relational databases
• A tool belt equipped with automation, build, and performance tools
